Bingo Overhaul
So you've cleaned up the pieces, put neatsfoot oil on the clutch washers, and possibly tested the motor. All that's left is to put it all back together.
The easy way is to put the pieces back on the base plate first. By pieces I mean the index cam assemblies (A), the drag arms and the switches that are mounted in front of the cams. Don't screw the cam assemblies down too tight, you will need to adjust them. Then drop the cam and motor assembly onto the base plate, making sure you don't mangle the switches, and screw the motor bracket down. Put on the search disc (ok, the flash disc in this machine), and attach the search wipers. You are now ready to make a couple adjustments. First, the search index cam assembly, which this game doesn't have. It would be a third assembly right next to the search disc, and the latch plate engages a metal ratchet similar to the spotting index assembly on the mixers. You want to pull in the coil so the latch plate locks into the ratchet, then you slide the assembly forward or backward so the wiper fingers are still making contact with all the rivets on the wiper board, but are hanging over the rivet partway and are about to leave the rivet (remember, the search wipers rotate clockwise when viewed from the search disc end). What you are trying to do is maximize the amount of time the wipers are touching a line of rivets before the search index latch stops the wipers from turning. Tighten the search index assembly down, and then check the switch on the front of the drag arms. It should open can close as the drag arms move along the edge of the metal cams they are riding on. Next is something that is also in most of the manuals, but applies to all machines that I'm aware of. The switches on the replay cams assembly should open/close when the coil is pulled in. The assembly can be in three states:
